SUMMARY:Concert: Luxembourg Clarinet Ambassadors
DESCRIPTION:The Luxembourg Clarinet Ambassadors will play for the musical finale of our in-house exhibition. Founded in 2023 by the board members of the Luxembourg Clarinet Association\, the ensemble brings together orchestral musicians\, teachers and instrument makers from different nations – each with their own musical tradition. Whether as an intimate trio or an impressive octet\, whether with a lively E-flat clarinet or a sonorous contrabass clarinet – the Ambassadors show how versatile their family of instruments sounds. In addition to original works and arrangements\, the members are actively involved in new music and regularly commission composers from their home country to write works for clarinet.    \nTheir passport is already well filled: After their debut at the European Clarinet Congress in Tilburg (2023)\, invitations to the ICA ClarinetFest in Dublin (2024) and the European Clarinet Congress in Salerno (2024) followed. The Ambassadors will perform the closing concert at the Parc Hosingen International Clarinet Competition (2025). However\, their diplomatic missions not only take them to big stages – but also to places where music is often missing: hospitals\, care homes and social institutions.   \nIn Bamberg\, the ensemble will perform as a sextet\, consisting of Jean-Luc Blasius\, Romain Gross\, Mirjan Hasi\, Max Mausen\, Conny Steinmetz and Simone Weber. \nAfter all concerts and during the breaks\, there are small appetizers and always a full glass according to taste. Admission to the concerts is free\, but we would be delighted if you would make an appropriate donation to enable the small-scale culture with KLArinettenanteil at Obere Königstraße 15 to continue in the future.

The elegant performance\, based on classical traditions\, is combined with daring\, sometimes even provocative interpretations that take the listener into the seductive and mysterious realm of sounds and the wonderful world of music that lies in the penumbra.  \nMany years of experience in partnership ensure an extensive repertoire covering almost all epochs and genres. SUMMARY:Concert: Clarimonia - Clarinet music from the classical period to the present day
DESCRIPTION:The ensemble “Clarimonia” (Bernhard Kösling\, Ekkehard Sauer\, Jochen Seggelke) takes us back to the time of Viennese Classicism\, played on historical replicas of clarinets and basset horns from the period. Together with Anton Säckl (Göttingen)\, they will play arrangements from the Prague music collection of Prince Clam-Gallas.\nThe musicians will then play the piece ‘Clarimonia’\, which was composed for them by Slava Cernavca. With its dance rhythms and melodies\, it takes us to the eastern Danube countries\, where the musical roots of the Munich-based composer lie.

DESCRIPTION:For the 3rd time the clarinet conference ClariCamp will take place in Poznan. We are pleased to be there again with a small exhibition of instruments. Our Polish partner Marta Sikora will also be taking part in the exhibition. Jochen Seggelke will also be performing with his ensemble Clarimonia. \nAdmission to the lectures and concerts as well as for passive workshop participants is free. DESCRIPTION:From November 5 to 7\, a workshop with Prof. Ernesto Molinari (Bern) and Jochen Seggelke on the CLEX contrabass clarinet will take place at the Rostock University of Music. Instead of a conventional key mechanism\, this instrument\, which we helped to develop\, is controlled by a dynamic sensor system. This makes it possible to send the work of the fingers on a wind instrument “through a computer”. The information can simply be transferred to the keys in the same way as a conventional mechanism\, but it can also be stored or influenced externally. At that time\, the company founders could not have imagined that 25 years later the company would employ 15 people from all parts of Germany\, Portugal\, France and Canada and that the instruments would spread great joy all over the world!\nWe have been trading as Seggelke Klarinetten GmbH & Co. KG for three years and now have three clarinet brands: modern instruments of the “Schwenk & Seggelke” brand and historically faithful reproductions of clarinets from the “Schwenk & Seggelke” brand. 18th and 19th century brand “JSB”. Since 2019 – 5 years ago – our “Seggelke Line” has complemented our range. Together with the company F. A. Uebel\, we produce a clarinet series that is equally suitable for beginners\, students\, teachers and professionals looking for an affordable second instrument. \nThere are also some private reasons to celebrate: Jochen Seggelke has now been self-employed as a woodwind instrument maker for 30 years and recently turned 60.
