Review: Master class with Shirley Brill

At the beginning of February, we welcomed seven talented young clarinettists from Romania, Poland, Finland and Israel to our workshop in Bamberg for a very special masterclass. Under the guidance of Prof. Shirley Brill (Nuremberg University of Music), they received intensive individual lessons and were able to gain valuable musical inspiration.

Another highlight was making music together in the large clarinet ensemble, in which pieces were worked on together with Jochen Seggelke. Of course, there was also the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of our clarinet production and try out our instruments and accessories.

The crowning finale was a concert in our sound workshop, where the participants presented the program they had developed to an audience – a wonderful moment full of music and enthusiasm!
